HeroSMP at a glance

HeroSMP is a Java Edition survival SMP built around a superhero twist. Players choose one of nine heroes and play as that character, using unique powers while they build, fight, and explore a custom world. All nine original heroes are free, and new heroes added later are also free. The server focuses on a blend of PvP, economy, and classic survival gameplay within a large, custom terrain.

In HeroSMP, players can establish bases, participate in player shops and an auction house, open crates, and take part in events and tournaments. There are land claims and teams, voting rewards, and a simple voice chat to stay connected with the community. The hub is designed to support ongoing progression through money, Bolts, crates, and shop systems, all centered on a superhero-based progression.

The server targets players who enjoy a themed, competitive survival experience with social features and regular activities. It suits those who want a community with economy-driven gameplay, battlefield moments, and hero-powered abilities that spice up exploration and combat. HeroSMP supports cross-play and is accessible to Java players, with Bedrock players able to join via a shared server setup (Bedrock port 19132). Players can join using the address its join address is copied here exactly once: herosmp.gg.

To get started, players should use the Java edition join address herosmp.gg, ensure their game is up to date with version 26.3 or newer, and head to spawn to pick a hero and begin using powers. Cross-play and the server’s wiki provide guides on joining and playing on both Java and Bedrock, ensuring new players can jump in and start building their superhero empire.
