ContinentalSMP Minecraft server

ContinentalSMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server centered on a large-scale Earth map with a Towny-based economy. It blends survival gameplay with nation-building concepts, letting players form towns and work toward broader geopolitical goals in a shared world. The 1:Earth world design and focus on a player-driven economy are highlighted in its public descriptions and community chatter. It runs on a Java-only platform and is accessible via its join address, play.continentalsmp.com.

Players on ContinentalSMP engage in traditional SMP activities—survival combat, resource gathering, and building—while also managing economy-driven systems like shops, markets, and town governance. The Towny layer adds land claims and municipal planning to move from individual builds to communal settlements and potential alliances across the map. The server emphasizes an ambitious, world-spanning scope rather than simple free-build play, inviting builders, traders, and strategists to contribute to a living map of nations.

The server is US-based and supports Java Edition players, with ongoing updates to its build and map scale that support a dense, world-spanning experience. Its community presence includes a Discord server and active discussions around expansion, diplomacy, and town development, which align with the economy-first, nation-building vibe described in its own materials. To join, players connect to the exact IP described above, and then follow in-game prompts to participate in towns, markets, and nation-building activities.

its website and its Discord are the primary hubs for information, events, and community coordination. The game modes and map type cater to players who enjoy a persistent, player-driven world where economy and politics shape everyday play. Join address: play.continentalsmp.com
