Moss & Moon Minecraft server

Moss & Moon is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on an inclusive, mature community experience. It blends survival, vanilla gameplay with light QoL features and a trust-based environment, offering cross-play with other platforms and a variety of minigame-inspired activities within an SMP setting. Players can expect a calm, community-driven world that emphasizes cooperation, economy, and social events rather than heavy modding or competitive play. The server operates with a diamond economy and a HermitCraft-inspired shopping district, alongside resource worlds that reset about once a month, giving players ongoing goals and exploration opportunities.

In terms of gameplay, Moss & Moon provides a main survival world complemented by a dedicated Game District where players can build mini-games and casinos. Bi-weekly events such as Survival Games, Spleef, and King of the Hill keep the server dynamic, while proximity chat and other convenience features (GSit, rapid leaf decay, no mob griefing) enhance the house rules of a semi-vanilla experience. Community events and a staff team are part of maintaining a welcoming, non-toxic space for players who are 18+ and respectful to others. The emphasis is on a friendly, inclusive environment rather than pay-to-win perks.

Who it suits: players seeking a semi-vanilla SMP with a donation-supported but not pay-to-win model, a strong LGBTQ+ welcoming culture, and an active event calendar. It is built for adults who value civility and community, including those who appreciate an economy-driven hub and a centralized shopping district as part of their Minecraft play.
