CosmosMC at a glance

CosmosMC is a multi-gamemode Minecraft network focused on Earth-scale builds, survival play, and creative block-based experiences. The server offers Earth SMP, Survival SMP, OneBlock, Islands and Towny-style play, with PvP and Vanilla-inspired mechanics tucked into a large, community-driven realm. The server supports a cross-play experience and emphasizes a mix of Earth-map exploration, town-building, and traditional survival progression.

Players on CosmosMC participate by exploring expansive maps, staking claims, forming towns, and collaborating on world-building projects. They can engage in economics and governance through Towny-style features, pursue survival challenges, and participate in OneBlock islands or Earth-scale maps that resemble real-world geography. The community-driven approach is reinforced by an emphasis on feedback-driven changes and ongoing innovation, as stated in the server’s description.

CosmosMC is based in the United States and is accessible to Java Edition players, with cross-play potential across platforms as indicated by its broader community content. Its Java address is mcmp.cosmosmc.org, and players can join via its website or its Discord for announcements and support. The server also provides Bedrock guidance on where to connect if using Bedrock-enabled clients. For new players, joining is as simple as entering the join address once in the multiplayer menu, then selecting the desired gamemode from the server’s menu and following in-game prompts.

Its website hosts multiple gamemode pages, including dedicated sections for Earth SMP, Survival SMP, OneBlock, and Islands, and is complemented by a map site and guild resources that reflect the server’s active, world-spanning communities. Players are encouraged to explore, build, and contribute to a thriving cosmos of player-made towns and landmarks.
