Runbad Minecraft server

Runbad is a Java edition Minecraft server described as a small semi-vanilla SMP focused on a cozy, community-driven survival experience. It runs Purpur-based software on a 26.2 build and positions itself in the Survival category with tags that include Economy, SMP, and Survival. The server is currently marketed as open beta, emphasizing an ongoing development phase rather than a finished, polished release.

Players on Runbad engage in classic survival activities within a laid-back, PvE-focused environment where griefing and stealing are discouraged and protected builds can be restored by staff if problems occur. The server emphasizes building, exploration, and social interaction within a calm, non-PvP framework, and it highlights safety and inclusivity as part of its community ethos.

Runbad targets players in the United States and presents itself as a Java-only server. Joining is straightforward for those on Java Edition, and the address to connect is play.runbad.net. It’s promoted as a cozy survival space suitable for players who want a slower, friendlier experience rather than a high-population hub.
